Thousands of visitors make the most of Publican Live
Visitors and exhibitors alike have hailed this week's Publican Live exhibition a huge success.
Thousands of licensees have been flocking to London's Olympia this week to enjoy the annual showcase of ideas and inspiration for the pub trade, hosted by The Publican.
With the show closing today organisers were still totting up the final numbers of visitors.
Brian Barron, licensee of the Horse & Groom in Alresford, Hampshire and the Black Swan in nearby Monxton said: "The show has been well worth the visit. I've found out a lot about tills, and I've got some great ideas for running poker nights and casinos in my pubs.
"The Sell More, Save More seminar has given me some great inspiration to try new things out."
Admiral Taverns marketing and communications manager Paul Holmes said the show had been a real benefit to the company, which has been exhibiting at Publican Live for three years.
"We continue to exhibit here because we like to meet potential licensees. Publican Live is a great opportunity to recruit, to promote Admiral as a brand and to meet people face-to-face."
Jeremy Hill, managing director of Hi Spirits - distributor of Antica Sambuca - said: "The approach at this year's Publican Live has been to encourage more selective, informed drinking and purchasing.
"The response to both Antica's product range and to the concept of the simple, mixed 'Longshots' Sambuca long-drinks has been phenomenal at this years show, eclipsing all expectations."
