All out of ale

The draught version of an ale brewed by Timothy Taylor to commemorate its 150th anniversary sold out within days. The one-off brew of Celebration Ale went on sale at the end of February. However, a limited amount of a bottled version of the ale is still available. The 5% abv ale was created by head brewer Peter Eells. He described the beer as, "a strong amber ale with a rich golden colour, robust hoppy aroma and full malty taste".

Tuaca training on offer

Italian liqueur brand Tuaca is offering free training to pub and bar staff in cities across the UK. The half-day sessions include an overview of the liqueurs market, followed by comparative tasting and cocktail demonstrations by bar consultant Soulshakers. Attendees will also be able to create their own cocktail and compete for a place in the grand final in Brighton later this year. The training sessions will be held in Belfast, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds, London and Brighton. They will run until the end

of April.

Tullibardine's distributors

Distiller Tullibardine has added Malcolm Cowen to its list of distributors for its range of Highland malt whiskies. Tullibardine will continue to use Edinburgh-based Wine Importers as distributor for Scotland, while Malcolm Cowen will handle the rest of the UK. Tullibardine director Michael Beamish said: "We are excited to be working with Malcolm Cowen, which specialises in the development of spirits and liqueurs."

"The new agreement will take the sales of Tullibardine's range of malts to the next stage in the UK market."
