Publican Live just two weeks away
The final countdown is on and the pages of thepublican.com are set to come to life at the biggest exhibition dedicated to the pub sector.
On April 1, 2 and 3 London's Olympia will be home to Publican Live - helping you make the most of your business.
Beers from across the country, a food market and a wine village will be just some of the highlights of the event.
And in the Publican Theatre trade experts will provide top tips in a range of seminars.
Daniel Pearce, thepublican.com's managing editor, said: "We've pulled together a great line-up of speakers to really bring some of the advice and hints that we offer in the magazine and on the website to life.
"The Proud of Pubs workshop taking place every afternoon will be all about making that special connection with pub customers - while our Sell More Save More morning sessions will offer up some of the practical business-building advice that is so important in 2008."
Among those present at Publican Live will be World darts champion John Part. The Canadian will join top referee Russ Bray at darts manufacturer Unicorn's stand to explain the appeal of the game and help it get back into more pubs.
Meanwhile a green alternative is entering the glass versus polycarbonate debate.
Biopac will be displaying its compostable pint and half pint tumblers, which the company says are anything but plastic. Instead the containers are made from polylactic acid, a corn starch based derived material that is made without using petrochemicals.
Kent Davis, Biopac sales manager, said: "Twickenham, Cheltenham, Racecourse and Aintree are among our client base who have made the move over to the environmentally responsible alternative."
