Tenth flavour for Corky's
Global Brands has added a 10th flavour to its Corky's range of vodka shots. Corky's Cappuccino, which will be available from Easter, is aimed at older consumers as an aperitif over ice, as a straight shot, or for adding to hot liqueur coffee.
Corky's is the number one vodka shot brand in the UK, with more than two million shots sold each month, the company said. The new flavour has an abv of 17% and is available in a 70cl bottle.
Darling Spuds adds chilli
Darling Spuds has added a new flavour
to its range of hand-cooked crisps. Sour cream with a hint of Mexican chilli will join sea salt and Modena balsamic vinegar, West Country Cheddar, leek and pink peppercorns, and fire-roasted Jalapeño peppers and crushed sea salt. All five flavours come in 40g bags
and retail at 65p each.
Co-founder David Willis
said: "Unlike some chilli offerings that can leave your tongue feeling like it's been bashed about with a piñata stick, we've opted for a
more informed style of spicing instead."
Porta's multiple choice
Porta has launched a new drinks dispenser that allows brands from multiple brewers to be dispensed from a single station. Station Creation allows retailers to dispense specific brands from chosen brewers who use Porta's bar fonts, including Chaplin, Ikon, Olympus and TowerVision.
Further options include two different heights, condensation, standard finishes, through-the-bar or clamp-on versions, while LED illumination and chilled-to-tap dispense are standard.
Porta business development manager Anthony Pelosi said: "While dispense stations featuring multiple brands from a single brewer are now commonplace, Station Creation provides one step further, allowing brands from more than one brewer to be dispensed from one station."
