Despite concerns over whether all City fans will respect the one-minute silence to mark the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster, in which eight of Busby's Babes and 15 others died, the tribute will still go ahead at Sunday's Manchester derby.

Old Trafford is the venue this time, after August's clash at the City of Manchester Stadium, which finished in favour of Sven Goran Eriksson's side. Geovanni put the Sky Blues ahead after 31 minutes with the only goal of the game.

City have had a good run this season but are still a good 17 points off the pace of the champions, who have dropped below Arsenal to second.

The whole Premiership is finding it difficult to keep up with the scoring record of Cristiano Ronaldo, who's netted 19 in 21 league games.

With 27 goals in all competitions, the Portuguese winger is nearing George Best's record of 32 in the 1967-8 campaign. Tune to SS1 from 1.00pm on Sunday to see if he can add any more to his tally.

With Liverpool slowly slipping down the table and title hopes dissolving, Rafa Benitez will be feeling the heat by the time the Reds take on the Blues at Stamford Bridge (Sunday from 3.30pm on SS1).

Arsenal, who beat Man City 3-1 at Eastlands last week,

face Blackburn on Monday. Emmanuel Adebayor's double, taking his domestic total to 18, suggests he's the one player to challenge Ronaldo for the Premier League golden boot.

Blackburn, a side quietly getting on with the business of playing football, are currently in eighth position. Though they might not relish the thought of a trip to the Emirates Stadium (Setanta1, 7.00pm), they still have a good chance of coming away with a point.

England's rugby union Six Nations side will be hoping for a big win on their trip to Rome's Stadio Flaminio. Though the Azzurri are at home, they'll be at a ditinct disadvantage to a side they have never beaten (BBC1, 2.00pm).
