Zephyr Bar and Club

Exeter, Devon

Agent: Christie+Co

Exeter businessman Ali Anvari is planning a high-profile

re-launch at his new bar - enlisting the help of a celebrity

couple. Peter Andre and Katie Price (aka Jordan), are set to stroll down the red carpet next month as the Zephyr is

repositioned on the Devon university town's late-night scene.

Anvari described the site as being in a "terrible state" when he took over last month: "It was an absolute disgrace - filthy and completely neglected. But this pub is in such a prime location - that's the reason we bought it."

He plans to capitalise on the student market by offering a good value food menu, including nachos, burgers and panini, and running regular drinks promotions.

The bar will also host regular live music nights, show TV sports and hold regular '70sand '80s nights. Anvari hopes these events will attract enough customers to boost turnover by between 30% and 40%.

Ali Anvari runs a security staff agency, specialising in the licensed trade, and another licensed business in Exeter.

Business partner, Steve Goss, runs a London shop selling rare car parts, among other business interests. As the Zephyr

refurbishment approaches completion, one of the pair's final tasks will be coming up with a new name for the site.

The 550-capacity venue trades over three floors and is held on a free-of-tie lease with a current rent of £68,000.

The business sold off an asking price £250,000.
