Marston's names new marketing managers
Marston's Beer Company has appointed two new marketing managers as part of its drive to "capitalise on Marston's high profile sponsorship of the English cricket team".
Ian Ward has been brought in as Marketing Manager for Banks's and Marston's brands following a 22-year career with Coors in sales and marketing.
He will be assuming the role held by Justin Way for three years, who moves to head up the On Trade Channel Marketing team.
Meanwhile Zoe Bristow has been appointed as brand manager for the Marston's portfolio. She comes with a history of marketing in the wine trade at Western Wines, which was later taken over by US firm Constellation Wines.
Marston's Beer Company Marketing Director Peter Jackson said: "Marston's beer sales have already bucked the national trend, a situation that is only set to continue with our sponsorship of the England cricket team, deals with test match grounds and commitment to sport on a local and national level.
"I'm delighted to see our marketing team grow with some more good people coming on board."
