How will England fare against Australia in the Rugby World Cup?

I hope they win, but it is going to be a tight game. If England do win, it will be by a small margin. Sales are down about 50% for this World Cup compared with the last one, even though we have done everything the same, advertised all matches etc. There is no real explanation. Perhaps people are watching at home, perhaps it is to do with the smoking ban - the weather hasn't helped.

I've not really been watching

the matches, but hopefully England will win. We have had

all the home nations' matches

on and the atmosphere, generally, has been good.

Rugby isn't that big in the pub as we are mainly a football pub, supporting our local team, Bolton Wanderers. Still, I think the match will be close, perhaps 30-29 to England.

It would be nice to see England win because we will get another weekend of good business. We've shown every single game up to now and it has been great for trade. I am forever an optimist, so I going to stick my neck out and, although it's bound to be very close, I'm going for 12-10 to England.

We will put up a valiant fight, but on England's form over the last four games, I can't see us winning. Everybody at the pub accepts that we are going to lose, but we will still have a party afterwards. Compared with four years ago, I think there's a lot of apathy about England's chances and we aren't as busy. I've put it down as Australia 48, England 20, and I think I've been a bit generous to England.
