Will you be screening the Rugby World Cup?
Bill Skehan Skehan Free House New Cross London
We are showing it at the moment, although there haven't been many major matches yet. The problem was that the first England match was on at the same time as the England football game. It's really in the second round that people will start to get interested in it. I would like to see Ireland doing well - we would have to show a bit of improvement.

We do show it here. I'm interested in rugby but it's not a very big sports pub. We don't have Sky because it doesn't warrant paying the amount Sky wants, so we are lucky that the World Cup is being shown on terrestrial TV. I think the winner is going to be New Zealand.
Jessica Loock Brewery Tap Peterborough Cambridgeshire
Yes, we've got the biggest screen in Peterborough - it's about 2.5m by 2m. Trade has not increased by much yet, but we're expecting a busy night on Friday when England play South Africa. We've got a lot of South African customers so that will certainly add to the atmosphere. I hope England stays in it for a bit - it'll really boost our trade.

We're really getting into the rugby this time round. All the matches that are available on terrestrial TV will be shown. It's good to have the rugby because we don't do football - it attracts the wrong sort of clientele. We're also introducing a rugby-themed real ale offer. At the moment there's Rugby Brewing Co's Webb Ellis - named after the man that invented rugby, Side Step and Outside Half.
