Should England manager Steve McClaren go?

"I don't think much of him, but I don't think he should go. It's a difficult job, he does not have much to work with and it's been like that for the last decade with England. It impacts on my business - there were lots of long faces round the TV on Saturday and people don't drink as much when we do badly. The real test will be Wednesday night, but customers seem a bit disinterested after Saturday."

"No I don't. I think someone's only as good as the players underneath them. I am not sure if they're really committed to the game - they're getting paid too much and being used too much internationally. I just don't think they're giving their all. I also think it's ludicrous to judge someone in such a short period. Their performance is a bit of a concern because we're a dedicated sports bar."
Stuart Wright

"Yeah I think so. I don't think he's really got the confidence or the passion and this really impacts on the players. I don't think they really respect him. We're a really big football pub with room for 500 fans and a huge TV, but the atmosphere was pretty miserable on Saturday. I say get Beckham on the bench, get the players and the crowd going."

"He's certainly not up to F1 standard, but I don't think he should be sacked - he's a good motivator. What we really need is a good tactician that could help him along a bit. I thought the performance on Saturday was absolutely abysmal, really disappointing. Get Sir Bobby Robson back in there, he got us to the 1990 semi-finals in Italy and everybody loved him."
