Mint buys four Fuller's venues

London Bar operator The Mint Group has confirmed the leasehold purchase of three London sites and a Bristol site from Fuller's, the brewer and pub operator.

Mint Group and Fuller's have exchanged contracts to acquire the leasehold interests in the businesses: the Fine Line in Clapham, south-west London; the Fine Line in Bristol; the Fine Line at the Minories in the City of London and the Hook, Line and Sinker in Twickenham, Middlesex.

BCI acquires pub in Somerset

British Country Inns has purchased the Nettlebridge Inn, near Bath in Somerset, off an asking price of £695,000. Set in an acre of lawned grounds, the pub has a lounge bar, restaurant and five letting rooms and was sold by Davey & Co on behalf of licensee Rob Piner.

Barracuda opens Bristol outlet

Barracuda Group has opened its latest Smith & Jones pub. The Assembly in Bedminster, Bristol, named after the 18th-century Clifton Assembly Rooms, offers an award-winning menu, a range of premium brands, real ales and a contemporary wine list.

Individual buys Est Est eateries

On behalf of Living Ventures, Shelley Sandzer has sold two Est Est Est Italian restaurant units in Wimbledon and Wandsworth to the Individual Restaurant Company, the firm responsible for the Piccolino Italian restaurant and bar and the highly- acclaimed Restaurant Bar & Grill.

Five managed pubs for Fuller's

London brewer and pub operator Fuller Smith & Turner has purchased five new managed pubs - the Oak Inn at Bank, near Lyndhurst, the Links at Liphook, and the Fisherman's Rest in Lymington, all in Hampshire; the Five Bells in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, and the Talk House in Stanton St John, Oxfordshire.

Largest single Punch purchase

Punch Taverns, the UK's largest pubco, has made its largest ever single acquisition with the purchase of an outlet in the affluent town of Godalming, Surrey.

The Red Lion on Mill Lane has been acquired for more than £1m from freeholder Ian Thompson.
