The Bell Inn, Adderbury, Oxfordshire
Landlord of the Bell Inn, John Bellinger, said: "We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a number of events to mark National Pubs Week 2006. As members of CAMRA we support them in their efforts to encourage more people to visit pubs and hope people in the area will come and join us for a fun time."
National Pubs Week coincides with the completion of the restoration of the counters at the Bell Inn and the number of hand-pumps available to serve real ales has been increased.
To mark this occasion, John will be making available the full range of Hooky cask ales, including Hooky Dark, Hooky Bitter, 303 AD and Old Hooky, in addition to the seasonal brew, Double Stout and the guest beers throughout the week.
In addition, the Bell will also be hosting the following events throughout the week:
Saturday February 18th - Steak Night, with low, low prices!
Sunday February 19th - National Pubs Week Quiz
Monday February 20th - An evening of folk and acoustic music
Tuesday February 21st - Ladies v Men's darts match
Wednesday February 22nd - Aunt Sally
Thursday February 23rd - Curry Night
Friday February 24th - Pub Triathlon (Darts, Dominoes and Aunt Sally)
Saturday February 25th - Open the Box Night (proceeds to Katherine House Hospice)
