CAMRA Pub Doctor finds the perfect pub
The Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) has launched a new scheme to help people find their perfect local in the run-up to National Pubs Week.
The Real Ale Pub Doctor scheme will be launched this week, and will run until February 17 - the day before Pubs Week begins. Under the scheme, members of the public fill out an online form, detailing what they are looking for in a pub.
Criteria will include detailing whether the pub should offer features such as traditional pub games, wheelchair access, a family room, evening meals or an outdoor drinking area.
A CAMRA representative will then reply by email, suggesting an ideal pub, basing their recommendation on a range of search materials including pub guides and websites.
Tony Jerome, senior marketing manager for CAMRA, said: "The scheme is a fun way of helping people to find pubs to visit during National Pubs Week. This facility can help a wide range of people find that ideal pub.
"It could be a family that are going to the coast for the weekend or a businessman who is visiting another city. The scheme is simple. Consumers must decide exactly what they want from a pub and fill in the online form and CAMRA will try and find a pub to suit their needs."
Any licensees wishing to recommend their pubs as suiting a certain criteria should email gbal.wrebzr@pnzen.bet.hx.
