Avebury Taverns, the tenanted pub company based in Buckinghamshire, has purchased three new properties. The sites are the Crumpled Horn in Swindon, the Moat House in Kings Coughtin, Warwickshire, and the Sire Henry Gurnett at Aveley in Essex. They were part of a group of properties marketed openly during the summer by agent AG&G. Two are freehold, although the Crumpled Horn is on a long lease with a ground rent. Avebury Taverns will convert each of the managed houses into tenanted operations.
