Williams Bros beers scoop eight SIBA awards
Five Williams Bros Brewery beers have won accolades across eight categories in the 2010 Scottish SIBA Beer Awards.
The brewery also won Best in Class in three out of the five bottled beer categories, which was judged last week in Edinburgh.
Seven Giraffes (5.1% ABV) won gold in the bottled speciality ale, and bronze in both the champion bottled beer and cask stong bitters category.
Harvest Sun (3.9%) won silver as a cask bitter/pale ale under 4%; Ginger (3.5%) won silver as a cask speciality beer; Midnight Sun (5.6%) won gold as a bottled porter/mild/stout; and Cock 'O the Walk (3.8%) won gold as a bottled bitter up to 4.9%.
