Pub operator Revere is launching a new site in West Sussex at the end of May.

The Curious Pig in the Parlour, previously known as the Hedgehog Inn, will open in Copthorne, West Sussex. Revere is Marston’s unbranded, premium pub format which launched last year.

The site features nine bedrooms providing many of the comforts and amenities expected of a boutique hotel.

The pub will offer food from breakfast through to dinner. A menu of regularly changing, seasonal dishes will be on offer throughout the day including dishes grilled in a Josper charcoal oven such as black Angus steaks, which have been dry-aged for 28 days. A wood-fired pizza oven will also be a focal point. The large 130-cover garden will feature quirky pagodas.

The drinks offer includes the pub’s own ale, Curious Brew, as well as a large selection of cask ales and craft beers.

Collin Sadler, managing director of Revere, said: “Building on the success of the Angel & Blue Pig and the White Hart, the Curious Pig in the Parlour represents another important step in our growing premium portfolio. All three of our pubs with rooms offer fantastic quality and value to both locals and visitors alike.”
