Cask Pub and Kitchen rollout
Award-winning licensee Martin Hayes is to expand beyond his Cask Pub and Kitchen pub in London and open the first of what could be a collection of specialist beer bars.
The current Publican's Morning Advertiser Pub of the Year winner is to open the Craft Beer Co outlet in London's Clerkenwell in June, which will stock the biggest range of craft beers in the UK.
"It will be the largest selection ever seen in the UK with 16 handpumps for British ales, 21 international beers on keg, and around 300 bottled beers," said Hayes.
Both pubs are on leaseholds with Greene King.
The new pub, set over two floors and previously named the Clockhouse, is being overhauled and will feature a mix of existing historical features and modern fittings.
