'Bolton Wanderers to pull in punters with free beer'

Bolton Wanderers will offer free beer to fans before their game with Blackburn tomorrow in an attempt to beat falling attendances at the Reebok Stadium. The Lancashire club will treat the first 1,000 supporters into their pre-match Fanzone to a free lunchtime drink as well as cut-price food and subsidised beer and cider from £1.75 ahead of the match - The Daily Mail​

Not a single violent drunk has been banned from pubs or clubs since a new law was introduced two years ago, ministers said yesterday. A poll suggests more than three-quarters say a reduction of the legal drink driving limit to 50mg would be a good thing. The survey, for the Tonight TV programme, comes ahead of a Government consultation which is expected to come out against reducing the blood-alcohol limit from 80mg - Sky News​
