The couple, who had a stockbroking background before entering the trade, plan to retire to Crete. As well as a community bar and function room, the former coaching inn has a three-bedroom owner's home plus a self-contained three-bedroom letting annexe. The inn is for sale at £245,000 freehold with Sidney Phillips. There is an option to purchase a one-bedroom cottage next door at £75,000 freehold. Chaplins on market An Essex pub themed on the silent Hollywood movie star Charlie Chaplin is on themarket with Cowling Commercial. Chaplins, on the Promenade at Burnham on Sea, has an outside patio area with coastal views. As well as the trade derived from the pub, there are four self-containedfirst-floor flats. Offers in the region of £320,000 are sought. Sushi bar sold A Japanese Sushi Bar in York has changed hands off an asking price of £225,000 leasehold through Barry Crux & Co. The Buzz Bar, a sizeable property in the city centre, was established in 2001 by brothers Claude, Lucien and Joseph Daoud Eid. Mr Hong Poc has taken over the reins.
