Picture-perfect pub is looking for new owner

The Grade II-listed Woodbridge Inn, beautifully set in approximately five acres of land on the banks of the River Severn in the picturesque Shropshire village of Coalport, is on the market through agents Christie & Co.

This long-established pub and restaurant is located just two miles from the famous Shropshire heritage site of Ironbridge Gorge, which is one of only 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Nearby attractions include the Broseley Pipeworks, Blists Hill Victorian Town and the Museum of the Gorge.

The Woodbridge is offered for sale on behalf of Gary Stelling.

He has owned the leasehold in-terest in the business for approximately two years and now wants to sell it in order to purchase a freehold pub.

He already also owns two other pubs in the area.

Christie & Co is inviting offers for the remaining 17 years of the current lease, which has been granted by the Unique Pub Company.

The three-storey character property offers a recently refurbished traditional bar and restaurant (the restaurant seats 46 diners), six en suite letting bedrooms and a two-bedroom owner's flat.

The inn's lawns slope down to the River Severn, on which the business has fishing rights.

There is a large car park to the rear of the property, land to the south suitable for a marquee, and a patio area to the north.
