Now in the sixth year and sponsored once again by Miller Genuine Draft, the ALMR's Operations Manager Awards are dedicated to recognising and rewarding the very best Business Development Managers and Area Managers throughout the industry.
The ALMR wants to hear from you and receive your nominations for the 2002 competition.
This year's competition is being run much the same as in previous years - should you require the full rules, contact the ALMR (details below).
The key features of this year's competition:
There are two categories - the Area Managers of managed pubs and bars, and the Business Development Managers of leased/tenanted operations.
Judging process:
- first priority is to receive your nominations, a form for which is available to download for free here.
- nominations must be in by the middle of June.
- entry papers will then be sent out to nominees, to be completed by 30th June. Take-up will be encouraged by sending these papers to you when any of your team have been nominated.
- comments from licensees & bosses will be collected
- accompanied visits will take place during July and August
- Panel judging will take place on the 6th September at the IoD
The awards presentation is at Olympia on the 17th September, and the winner will be offered a study tour this Autumn to the Miller Brewery in Milwaukee and a visit to retail businesses in Chicago.
