1 in 6 students say they have been spiked at nightlife venue

One in six students said they have had their drink spiked at a nightlife venue, with 80% believing venues were not doing enough to reduce the risk of spiking, the third edition of Stint’s The Students Sentiment Tracker revealed.

Average sales by value in managed pubs, bars, and restaurants in the seven days to Saturday 7 May were 3% up on the same week in 2019 in the third best result so far this year, according to the latest CGA Drinks Recovery Tracker.
