The advert sees former England captain Beckham pop out for a run and stumble upon a pub in Middlesbrough, where he gets caught up in the boozy celebrations as the Teeside club scores a goal.
In the advert, Beckham finds himself not only being shepherded into Flanagans pub in Battersea, where the scenes for the in-pub atmosphere were filmed, but also getting caught up in an autumn kickabout and being chased by a dog in the winter.
Directed by Frederic Planchon, the advert took more than 70 hours to film and needed 500 extras. It premiered on 21 July across's Sky's digital outlets, including skysports.com, as well as Beckham’s Facebook page, before being shown on TV from 22 July.
"Anything can happen in the Premier League and this ad by Sky is a really fun way of showing that," Beckham said. "Filming the ad was great and the finished piece is a really clever way of showing that you never know what might happen in football."
The Premier League season kicks off on Saturday, 13 August when reigning champions Leicester City visit Hull City for the season's curtain raiser.
