Molson Coors has announced the launch of a new campaign for Cobra, which is aimed at celebrating the beer’s food pairing credentials.

The Brewed Smooth for All Food campaign is supported by an exclusive partnership with Masterchef: The Professionals winner Gary Maclean, and will offer outlets expert advice on food and beer pairing.

The scheme is set to be announced at June’s London Food Month, where Cobra is the official beer partner.

Pop-up food

Cobra Flavour Rooms and Bar pop-up is also available at Night Market at Kensington Palace Gardens, west London from 7 until 18 June.

The experimental pop-up offers customers an immersive beer and food tasting experience with a fusion menu, created by Maclean.

The menu, which has been named Cobra Fusion Bits, has been inspired by flavours from around the world and includes a collection of 10 recipes that complement or are infused with the Cobra range.

Cobra and food pairing

Molson Coors world beers portfolio head Rob Hollis outlined how Cobra pairs up with a variety of international dishes.

He said: “The premium world beers category is going from strength to strength in the UK, and demand for beers that pair well with food has never been higher.

“Cobra has long been known as a perfect match for spicy food but Maclean’s fusion menu will demonstrate just how versatile Cobra is as the perfect partner to a huge range of different cuisines from around the world.”

To get involved with the campaign or to get a copy of the Cobra Fusion Bites recipe book, operators should contact their Molson Coors account manager.
