The supplier, which was previously named Bidvest 3663, will begin trading under its new name in April.
Chief executive Andrew Selley said: “When we made the move from Bidvest 3663 to Bidvest Foodservice, we also launched a new mission, vision and employee values, all centring on service excellence and offering the best customer experience in the market."
'Stronger brand'
He added: “Although our name is changing, these principles and our wider business priorities remain firmly in our focus, and I believe this is a stronger brand for us and for our Bidfood businesses globally.”
The company will undergo a brief transition period from April, when it will introduce the new name and branding across its website, fleet livery and depot signage.
Selley said: “Over the past 18 months, we’ve been focused on making important internal changes to meet customer needs now and in the future."
'Committed to investment'
He added: “We are fully committed to investing in our local depots, our teams and our services, and delivering great food.”
Last year, Bidvest relaunched its own brand portfolio of food, drink and non-food products in an attempt to streamline the ordering process for customers.
It also brought in general managers at its warehouses to allow the supplier to react quicker to the individual demands of the business.
