Punch roadshow 'best ever' in Edinburgh

Punch has claimed an 'astounding' footfall rate at six of its nationwide roadshows.

The pubco has recently undertaken a series of roadshows across the UK – including the most successful Edinburgh event last month with 300 people attending, more than double the original target.

The aim of the events are to showcase the pubco and provide information to its publicans with 74 suppliers available to discuss options, such as BrewDog, Diageo and William Bros.

Professionals working for the pubco were also on-hand to discuss options with licensees and potential pub owners about how Punch can support their businesses and increase sales or create efficiency savings.

Licensees also had the opportunity to challenge Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan, from ITV's popular TV gameshow of The Chase. And 50 people lined up at the oche to try and beat British darts champion Martin 'Wolfie' Adams at his own game.

Brian Davidson, Punch operations director for Scotland said: "We’re delighted with how well our Edinburgh roadshow went. The uptake and enthusiasm was really impressive".
