Pilsner Urquell, a Czech beer brand owned in the UK by Miller Brands, launched its ninth tank bar last week at the Draft House on Chancery Lane, London, in response to a rise in demand for sessionable ale, said Lobovsky.
"There's a demand for sessionable beers and tank beers deliver the freshest beers," he told the Publican's Morning Advertiser (PMA) in this podcast.
"In the world of craft beers, where the scope has become all about different flavours, 'sessionable' is something that seems to have disappeared over the past couple of years to a certain extent."

Listen to the rest of this podcast to find out what Pilsner Urquell has planned for the UK in the future and to discover why pouring the brew in different ways affects its flavour profile.
Meanwhile, flavour profiles will be up for discussion at the upcoming Future Trends: Beer and Cider event organised by the PMA and headline sponsor Heineken.
The event, which will be held in London on 22 June, will feature talks from industry experts and analysts.
