Fuller's launches Vintage Ale 2016

Fuller's has released its 2016 edition of Vintage Ale to the public.

Limited Edition

This year's limited-edition ale, the 20th in the range, mixes classic British hops with the Nelson Sauvin variety from New Zealand to create a 'complex amber beer with a rich flavour profile and an 8.5% ABV.

Fuller’s head brewer John Keeling adds: “Like its counterparts of previous years, this is a truly distinguished bottle-conditioned ale. Each vintage improves in the bottle with time. Bottle conditioning means that little yeast is left in the bottle, which will mature slowly over the years like a fine wine or whisky – well beyond the ‘best before’ date that we are oblige to state”.

Family Brewer

As an independent traditional family brewer, founded in 1845, Fuller’s has grown in the trade sector  and has almost 400 managed and tenanted pubs.

The Fuller’s Beer Company has reaped success on brews such as Frontier Craft Lager and London Pride.

Last month Fuller’s worked with New Zealand-based craft brewery Yeastie Boys, which was a triumph for both parties. By incorporating New Zealand hops into its Vintage Ale, Fuller’s clearly aims to build on inspiration gained from that collaboration.
