The Morning Advertiser is launching its latest Drinks List so you know the most popular brands in the UK on-trade and how well each one is faring at pubs and bars up and down the country.

The Drinks List: Top Brands to Stock in 2025 is a list of the best-performing brands will make sure you can keep up with what your customers want to drink in the new year – and you can have access to it absolutely free of charge during the week beginning Monday 2 December.

Spread across 16 categories, the Drinks List – which is sponsored by Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I, Greene King and Heineken UK and others – is a compilation of exclusive data by CGA by NIQ charting the success of individual drinks brands sold in the on-trade.

Prowess clear to see

Measures have been taken to show volume and value sales for each beverage that make up the top 10 in each division, whether it be in hectolitres or nine- litre cases.

Many of the brands listed are stalwarts of each division and their prowess is clear to see as they are regulars in the top 10 with some holding onto the top spot year after year, but there are always some movers and shakers each year that force their way up the category rankings or even into the divisions as new entries.

The 16 categories are cask ale, cider, craft beer, gin, lager, liqueurs & specialities, low & no alcohol beer, mixers, RTDs, rum, soft drinks, spirits, tequila, vodka, whisky and wine.

Customers know and love them

The drinks listed have made the top 10 because they have sold the most throughout the past year and the quality of those beverages means customers know and love them, and if you’re not selling them, you could be missing out on vital sales.

Some divisions have seen increases across the board while others have shrunk somewhat but one thing is for sure, these are the drinks brands that are setting the standards and those outside the top 10 in each category have got their work cut out to made it into the higher echelons.

We’re not going to give you any spoilers as to who has come out on top so when we release The Drinks List: Top Brands to Stock in 2025, all you will need to do is click on the link and access will be yours at no cost.
