Stonegate adds to AF line-up

Stonegate adds Days alcohol-free brand to its bars
Stonegate Group has increased its alcohol-free line-up with a deal to list AF-beer brand Days.

The fast-growing brand has now gained a national listing with the UK’s largest pub chain for its 0.0% ABV lager and pale ale.

To celebrate the deal, Days will be giving away free beers in over 1,500 Stonegate sites, via the company’s MIXR app from October 17 to 31.

Socialising differently

Nick Marks, group commercial director at Stonegate said: “We are really socialising differently and as our business evolves it’s important that we cater for that trend towards moderation.

“With 30% of all pub and bar visits in the UK now alcohol-free, we’re looking forward to partnering with the UK’s biggest pub group to offer our award-winning 0.0% beers to modern drinkers who still want that brilliant beer moment in the pub but are living healthier lifestyles and moderating their alcohol consumption.”

The company said while moderation was growing, it was particularly prominent with Millennial customers who represent 40% of the UK’s low & no buyers.

It claimed 70% of 25 to 34-year-olds in the UK are actively looking to reduce their alcohol consumption in the year ahead.
