The Cask Project, which is an initiative set up by The Morning Advertiser to drive re-engagement and sales within the on-trade cask beer market, will screen a live webinar with a line-up of experts in the field talking in detail about the sector.
To watch the webinar, you need to sign up for free here and then you will have access to the event that begins at 3pm (British Summer Time) next Tuesday.
The webinar, which is sponsored by Greene King, will see some well-known faces from across the cask ale industry who will be talking about the subject in detail.
Excellent opportunity
Greene King head brewer Jack Palmer will be giving his views on a Focus on brewing and it makes for an excellent opportunity for cask pubs and those who want to get into the scene to learn more.
Dispelling the myth that cask ale is for “old men”, Palmer spoke on the subject recently and will be offering similar wise words on the Cask Webinar.
He said: “Cask and real ales have traditionally always been considered as a drink for older generations or niche beer enthusiasts but our research clearly suggests that this perception is starting to change, and we aren’t planning to stop that change.
“Greene King is on a mission to encourage more Brits to discover the unique craftsmanship behind cask ales and it’s fantastic to see that people are changing perceptions.
Unique flavours
“We encourage everyone to step out of their comfort zones and not only discover but appreciate the unique flavours and heritage that makes cask ale so special.”
