Roxy Leisure rebrands and announces new offer
The company, which includes brands Roxy Ball Room, Roxy Lanes and King Pins as well as new family-focused arm Star Pins that is being launched later this year, was founded by brothers Matt and Ben Jones.
Alongside the rebrand to Professionals At Play, the company has also undertaken a management restructure with a new chief operating officer who has been appointed to take the group forward.
Former managing director of Pins Leisure, Colin Sadler has taken on the role. He joined the business last year and led the expansion of the King Pins brand, which now has two sites in Manchester with more in the pipeline.
Group appointments
He will oversee group operations, commercial, marketing and the people teams during the next phase of growth.
Further group appointments include Ben Warren becoming commercial director while Adam Lazenby will step up as head of people operations and Joel Mitchell who will take on the role of marketing director.
The first site under the new family-focused brand Star Pins is due to open in Coventry in November.
It will have ten-pin bowling alongside other games such as mini golf, darts, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, American pool, shooting and ping pong.
Next step
The 32,000sq ft venue will also feature an arcade and full food and drink offer, featuring a desserts emporium.
CEO Matt Jones said: “We are really proud of our growth so far and see the launch of Professionals at Play as the next step in this journey.
“We have a hugely talented team who are instrumental in creating, rolling out and running our concepts.
“Our new parent company name gives our brands a clear home along with a base for creating more exciting offers and concepts.”
