Miller, formerly of Stonegate, has joined Nightcap after five years with Stonegate – including two years where she was business unit director for its Late Night division, which encompassed Be at One, Slug & Lettuce and Popworld.
Prior to Stonegate, Miller worked as operations director for Novus.
Wealth of knowledge
Nightcap chief executive Sarah Willingham said: “I am absolutely thrilled to welcome Sarah to the team, she is a great fit for us all.
“She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and talent to our fast-moving business along with a real drive for success. I’m really excited to have Sarah join the executive team and I can’t wait to start working with her.”
Miller will join Nightcap during the summer.
Nightcap recently revealed its disappointment with Revolution Bars Group after it rejected a possible offer for the business and the operator of Revolution, Revolucion de Cuba and Peach Pubs opted to end its sales process and proceed with its restructuring plan.
Sale of Peach Pubs
The Sarah Willingham-led business said at the time its offer would have included a fundraising and the implementation of the restructuring plan to be followed by a combination of the Nightcap and Revolution businesses as well as a sale of Peach Pubs.
It added with five acquisitions made in just over three years, it is well placed to continue executing on its consolidation strategy.
The board added there will be opportunities for further consolidation in the late-night sector in the coming year as the sector moves from incremental M&A activity to a fundamental structural transformation as many of the operators in the sector are going through significant change.
