- Enter the 2024 Great British Pub Awards here now
Operators now have until 5pm on Monday 13 May to get their entries in and be in with a chance of being named the Great British Pub of the Year.
A plethora of last year’s winners have revealed the impact of their awards success in recent weeks.
Many shared their pride in being named the UK’s best and a number of them reported a hike in trade and press coverage following their win.
On the entry deadline extension, Ed Bedington, editor of The Morning Advertiser, which organises the awards, said: "These awards are the pinnacle for many pubs, so I'm delighted we're able to give you a little more time to get your initial entries in.
“It's worth dedicating some time to sit down and apply, as success in these awards can really deliver a boost to your business, which in the current market, can be priceless. We know the judging process is rigorous but fair and has real meaning for your operation, your staff and your customers, both existing and yet to come.
“I'd urge all pubs to enter, put your business in the mix and who knows, you could find yourself on stage being declared the nation's best pub!”
The awards ceremony will be returning to Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on Tuesday 17 September for a celebration of epic proportions.
