Breal rebrands in bid to show commitment to brewing sector
Through the rebrand, the London-based business aims to underline its strength, stability and progress, it stated.
CEO Mark Williams said: “As Keystone Brewing Group, we are proud to build upon the legacy of Breal Group while embarking on an exciting new chapter of growth and innovation.
“Our rebranding represents our unwavering commitment to excellence, creativity and progress in the brewing industry.”
According to the business, the rebrand acts as a unifier for each brewery within the firm and Keystone Brewing Group also aims to articulate its hope for the future of the brewing industry alongside its commitment to supporting and nurturing established and emerging brands within its portfolio.
Pivotal role
Williams added: “The ‘keystone’ is a central architectural element that locks an arch into place, which we see as representing the pivotal role the company plays in the brewing industry.
“Just as a keystone supports and sustains an arch, Keystone Brewing Group is dedicated to supporting and nurturing established and emerging brands within its portfolio.
“We remain steadfast in our dedication to delivering exceptional quality, variety and innovation to consumers in the UK and worldwide.
“The group is poised to continue our legacy of excellence and shape the future of the brewing industry.”
Acquisition history
In December last year, the business acquired the assets of Warwickshire-based company Purity Brewing Co for an undisclosed sum.
Purity was an acquisition target of lending and advisory firm’s since early 2023 and it anticipated the move would secure the long-term future of the business.
Last year, it also concluded a deal to obtain Peckham-based Brick Brewery as well as Vinoteca wine bars and craft microbrewery Brew By Numbers.
Furthermore, the group also acquired Black Sheep Brewery in May last year and has since received a £1m investment to turn its brewery into a “centre for excellence”.
