The Scottish brewer and bar operator has announced that it is now an official Reward Partner for Tesco Clubcard, allowing shoppers to use their points for pints at almost any BrewDog bar in the UK.
The partnership makes the craft brewery the only current bar or restaurant to offer beer in exchange for a Clubcard Reward Partner code.
Partner codes are eligible to be used on any alcoholic drink (excl. beer towers), when purchasing any food.
Every 50p worth of vouchers can be turned into £1.00 to spend at BrewDog bars, meaning 300 points equates to £6 off ice-cold pints. With 150 points, Clubcard members will see a reduction of over 50% on many of BrewDog’s brews.
Founder of BrewDog, James Watt said: “With an existing customer base of over 21 million active Clubcard members, we’re delighted to be the only restaurant Partner to offer pints in return for points."
Helping out
He added: “Everyone is feeling the cost-of-living squeeze, so if we can help people with the cost of our beer where possible, you can bet your pint on it that we will.”
The Tesco Clubcard points can also be exchanged at country pub operator Chef & Brewer's sites. The company runs traditional pubs across the south of England.
The Greene King-owned brand operates "relaxed pubs" in "beautiful locations," according to its website.
Spoilt for choice
They can also be used at Hungry Horse pubs, also owned by Greene King, which operates food-led venues across the country. The brand prides itself on being great value, and offers free WIFI at all sites.
UK-based Italian brands, including Pizza Express, Prezzo, Ask Italian, Zizzi and Bella Italia are also involved in the scheme.
Furthermore, Parisian-inspired restaurant chain Café Rouge is also a partner for the Tesco Clubcard scheme.
