Over the past two years, Secret Pub Company, which owns the venue, has invested in a full front and back of house refurbishment, including enhancements to its function room and a new pergola in the garden, which also offers play equipment and outdoor games.
The operator has also planned to increase seating in its expansive garden over the next year.
Inside, the pub’s bar has a traditional country feel to it, while its dining area offers plush seating with a view to the stunning garden.
Family values
Customer service is key at the Plough, whether guests are dining or drinking, enjoying a date-night, family meal or post-work pint, everyone is greeted with a smile as soon as they walk through the door.
The family values presented by the pub are also apparent immediately by the outstanding customer service and accessible menu, which caters for all diets and can be tailored to suit all requirements.
In addition to a wide range of drinks and the varied food offering, the venue also serves home-made cakes at the bar and welcomes four-legged members of the family, with dog treats also available at the bar.
Something for all
From babies to grandparents there is something for everyone at the Plough, including annual post-exam parties for local schools, family fun days, a Christmas market and a weekly quiz night tailored for the family market.
The pub also works closely with its local community to support nearby independent businesses as well as helping local schools and getting involved in the local community.
General manger Becky Cassapi ensures things run smoothly at the site and her passion and drive bolsters the Plough’s strengths as a wonderful family pub, making it the perfect place for them to relax and a deserved winner in its category.
