Real meaning

Ed Bedington, editor of The Morning Advertiser, which organises the prestigious event, said: “These awards are the pinnacle for many pubs, so I'm delighted we're able to give you a little more time to get your initial entries in.

“It's worth spending a bit of time to sit down and apply, as success in these awards can really deliver a boost to your business, which in the current market, can be priceless. The judging process is rigorous but fair and has real meaning for your operation, your staff and your customers, both existing and yet to come.

“I'd urge all pubs to enter, put your business in the mix and who knows, you could find yourself on stage being declared the best pub in the country!”
