The event, which is run by The Morning Advertiser’s sister title MCA, took place on Tuesday (14 March) at The Roundhouse, in London’s Chalk Farm.
Furthermore, Inception Group scooped Best Pub/Bar Company, which is also growing on multiple fronts with its Control Room B bar in Battersea Power Station labelled by its founders as a “career highlight”.
Best New Opening was awarded to BrewDog’s Waterloo venue – a 27,500sq ft, multi-levelled site, reported to be the biggest bar in the UK.
Exceptional quality
MCA editor Finn Scott-Delany said: “The exceptional quality of our winners are a great testament to the hard work, innovation and resilience of our hospitality sector.
“It has been an incredibly difficult past few years but the leading operators represented at these awards have demonstrated great strength of spirit in overcoming a multitude of challenges and continuing to put their customers first.”
Arc Inspirations managing director Anni Opong was presented with the Rising Star Award with the group’s CEO Martin Wolstencroft describing her as a “star in the making” from the very beginning and a fantastic role model for young women in the hospitality sector.
