Joining Bruha’s Session Pale and Sunrise Blonde for a limited time from March, is Bruha Porter 4.5% ABV. The brewery describes it as a rich and dark beer with notes of caramel, toffee and caramel and adds it is “clean and crisp, whilst still delivering bold and complex flavours”.
Bruha, which is located halfway between Norwich and Ipswich, hopes its first seasonal release of the year will allow customers to discover the brand for the first time while offering those who are fans already to try a darker beer.
Simcoe and Citra
Bruha Porter takes inspiration from the classic 18th century Baltic Porter and is balanced with Simcoe and Citra hops to give it a piney and citrus flavour.
“Bruha Porter is the first in a line of nine seasonal cask beers that we will be launching into pubs and bars this year,” said Bruha managing director Rob Breakwell.
“We wanted to offer our customers a chance to try something new, as well as introduce more people to Bruha and this is a great way for us to sample new styles and provide more choice.”
Essential brand
Breakwell continued: “We want Bruha to become an essential beer brand for the region and be known for creating aspirational beers that are consistently delicious.
“Bruha Porter sits outside of what we typically offer so serving it as a limited release cask beer allows us to experiment with new brews and attract new customers.”
The business explained its Session Pale and Sunrise Blonde will be available all year round with nine new seasonal cask ales being released at different points throughout 2023 and all will be available to the on-trade.
