The new bar is set to open in Southside Shopping Centre, Wandsworth, at midday on Friday 27 January.
BrewDog Bars CEO James Brown said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for us to bring our ethos of craft beer and sustainability to Wandsworth.
Part of the community
“We’re a proud Living Wage employer that shares 50% of our profits with our team from the bar, as well as engaging with local breweries through community events in the area. We can’t wait to become part of the Wandsworth community.”
Offering drink in or takeaway serves, BrewDog Wandsworth will serve up 30 taps of draught beer and cider from the brand’s headliners, craft breweries from the South of England and further afield as well as canned and bottled offerings.
The new site will also feature guest taps to support the local breweries of Wandsworth all year-round, including Mondo, Distortion and Belleville.
Building plans
Alongside the drinks offering, BrewDog Wandsworth will feature the brand’s classic burger and wings menu, 50% of which is plant-based, with offers such as 2-4-1 on vegan or vegetarian meals on Monday’s, unlimited wings every Wednesday, Hoppy Meals for children as well as bottomless brunch options on weekends.
This comes as BrewDog CEO James Watt earlier this month announced the company was “building plans” to open more than 100 sites in India in the next 10 years.
Watt said: “Working with our local partners we are building plans that would see India become our most significant market globally over the medium term. We are building plans to open more than 100 BrewDog bars in India over the next decade as well as putting both our beers and our spirits into wholesale channels by the middle of 2023.
“Working with a fantastic local partner and their very talented team we have already opened three brilliant BrewDog Bars (Mumbai Midtown, Mumbai Bandra and Gurugram) and we have two more opening (Amritsar and Chandigarh) in Q1 of 2023 which will take us to five outstanding locations in India.”
