Having established its corporate charity partnership in March last year, Wells & Co fundraised steadily throughout 2022 and accelerated with the introduction of a festive promotion across its managed pub estate, with a £1 donation from each Christmas menu purchased going to the charity that supports young people going diagnosed with cancer.
The total raised was £9,758 through the festive menu donations, which the Bedfordshire-based business rounded up to an even £10,000.
Stunning result
Wells & Co labelled the fundraising effort a “stunning result and a real team effort”.
Teenage Cancer Trust senior relationship manager Hailey Amani said: “Teenage Cancer Trust are so thrilled to be partnered with the fantastic Wells & Co.
“These donations will make such a difference to the support we can offer young people with cancer. Not only that, but they were also kind enough to offer free meals to our wonderful nursing staff over the festive period too.
“What a special bunch. We can’t wait to see what else we can achieve throughout the rest of the partnership.”
So happy
Wells & Co retail marketing manager Lauren Troiano added: “We’re so happy we have been able to fundraise so much for our corporate charity via our festive menu donation.
“It’s been a rewarding journey so far working with such a great charity. We look forward to seeing how we can build on this amazing momentum in 2023.”
Wells & Co.’s partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust forms part of its Triple Bottom Line philosophy, focusing attention on social and environmental issues alongside their financial targets.
