The Dartford Sports Bar provides a great offer for sports fans of all stripes, but goes much further than that, offering a competitive and welcoming pub for anyone, sports-lovers or not.
The menu offer is innovative, providing the traditional pub fare alongside some more innovative nibbles that will keep the punters munching during the big match.
And for those that take their sport seriously and find the moment getting too much, they can top up on antiperspirant with the free cans included in the men’s toilets!
Jewel operation
This site is a real jewel in the Admiral Taverns estate, with young operators Chris Michaelmas and April Reeves bringing their own touches and inspiration to the business and elevating it even further, following a significant £400,000 refurbishment from the pub company.
This is a venue that trades long hours, into the late night, yet has still brought in a popular brunch offer, extending the trading window even further.
And they’re not frightened of competition either, going toe-to-toe with the huge JD Wetherspoon a few doors down and more than holding their own in a hugely competitive market.
A great approach to zoning means the venue is capable of catering for a number of sporting events at the same time, and the recent development of the rear courtyard garden has given the business further opportunity with a great outdoor space that will be able to trade year round.
Fantastic business
A strong approach to staff training and engagement ensures a strong team is on hand to make sure that every visit is special.
Chris and April have created a fantastic business that has rapidly become a key hub for the local community in Dartford.
