September has arrived and with it brings the promise of cosy nights, autumn walks and of course, pumpkin spice season.

With that in mind, the announcement of Kocktail’s latest variant, Pumpkin Spices Espresso Martini, is well timed.

Available exclusively at John Lewis from Thursday 22 September, the new offering, which is vegan friendly, has been designed by award-winning bartender and chief Kocktail curator Neil Donachie.

Kocktail co-founder Andrew Hutchinson said: “The Pumpkin Spiced Espresso Martini is pure autumn magic.

“Made using the same recipe as our original Espresso Martini but with the addition of pumpkin spiced syrup, the slightly warm spiciness lifts the coffee notes for a perfectly balanced twist on the modern classic.”

Premium French vodka brand, Grey Goose, has entered the ready to drink (RTD) category with the release of its spritz range, Essences, in cans.

Originally launched earlier this year in bottle format, Grey Goose Essences contain natural flavours, real fruit, and distilled botanicals, offering a lighter alternative to other RTDs or beer at just 79 calories per serve.

The new canned offering can be enjoyed in two flavours, Watermelon and Strawberry (both 4.5% ABV), availble now in 12x250ml packs from Amazon at RRP £24.50.

Grey Goose’s Watermelon Spritz offers notes of juicy watermelons with garden-picked peppery basil for a bright and refreshing taste, while the Strawberry Spritz variant contains notes of strawberries and lemongrass with a touch of citrus to create an aromatic serve.

Monkey Shoulder, the made-for-mixing whisky, has announced the launch of a new spirit, Fresh Monkey.

A first for the brand, Fresh Monkey is a blended grain spirit, a unique mix of three new make spirits, two grain spirits and one Speyside malt spirit, blended together unaged, straight off the still, and specifically selected to deliver a fresh and balanced flavour.

The new release offers the versatility of a light rum but with the delicate chocolatey and malty finish Monkey Shoulder is traditionally known for.

Fresh Monkey breaks new ground for the brand by combining the richness of classic malt notes with vibrant tropical flavours and joins Monkey Shoulder’ portfolio of spirits including Original and Smokey Monkey.

The new variant is availble now from Drink Supermarket in 70cl bottles at RRP £43.99.

UK spirits distributor, Hi-Spirits, has announced the UK launch of Kranebet Italian Gin Liqueur.

Produced in Italy by Rossi d’Asiago distillers since 1924, Kranebet is an award-winning, aromatic liqueur rich in juniper, crafted using carefully selected ingredients and artisanal distillation to create a harmonious spirit, free from artificial flavouring and colours.

Kranebet is made through the slow distillation of hand-picked juniper berries, using a traditional copper still at the Rossi d’Asiago distillery, with a bain-marie system.

Other botanicals include gentian root, roman absinthe, coriander seeds and quassia bark, which bring delicate bitter and herbaceous notes with hints of wood, best enjoyed neat, chilled on the rocks, or mixed with a premium tonic.
