Rogers, who has run the Young’s-owned pub since 2016, is exiting the venue but will continue his career in the hospitality sector.
He told The Morning Advertiser: "I've loved the Guinea absolutely and always will. It's an incredible infinite business with the best team of staff in the business. The kitchen is world class under the stewardship of (head chef) Vik Seppanen and the brigade.
"The business continues to go from strength to strength and Young's has very exciting plans for 2023. I shall take some time to breathe while preparing to embark on an exciting new pub project. There's never a good time to leave, but I'm delighted to know that I pass the business on in perfect shape."

Many from the sector wished him luck in his next venture including UKHospitality chief executive Kate Nicholls.
She replied to his tweet: “End of an era – best of luck for the next adventure.”
Rogers has been at the helm of the Mayfair pub for the past six years, where he moved from Islington site the Canonbury Tavern.
He started his hospitality career in Dublin as a barman before moving into the pub sector in the late 1980s in London at the Magpie in Chelsea as well as the Man in the Moon on the Kings Road.
He went on to run the Marlborough in Richmond followed by the St Margaret’s Tavern in Twickenham.
The Guinea Grill is also where the iconic Scotch Egg Challenge has taken place for a number of years, which Rogers previously ran at the Ship in Wandsworth where he was in charge for nine years before moving to the Guinea.
Previous accolades
The West End pub, which has been a mainstay on the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropub list, is currently placed at number six.
Furthermore, it was also named as one of the nation’s best restaurant’s in this year’s Top 100 from the National Restaurant Awards.
