Pinnacle Beer & Gin Hall on Bond Street is set to open in the venue that was Roxy Leisure’s Roxy Lanes site. It will house seven pool tables, shuffleboard and screens showing Sky Sports and BT sports, and will create 20 new jobs.
Spanning 7,000sq ft, the bar is 11th venue for the Concept Taverns portfolio and takes its name from the Pinnacle Building it resides within, which was the tallest building in central Leeds when it opened in 1973.
Drinks and food range
Floor-to-ceiling windows offer skyline views from the bar, which is being refurbished by Yorkshire Project Design and Build, which has revamped Concept Taverns sites including Market Square Tavern in Bingley and Granville’s Beer & Gin House in Horsforth. The new bar joins sister site Parkside Tavern in central Leeds.
Within its drinks range, the draught beers will include Virtuous from local business Kirkstall Brewery, Guinness and Beavertown Neck Oil while gins will encompass the Malfy range, Monkey 47 and Plymouth Gin. Pinnacle Beer & Gin Hall will also serve classic, signature and sparkling cocktails.
The food offer features hand-stretched pizzas, small plates such as beetroot falafel, nachos and charcuterie selections.
Something special
Concept Taverns managing director Ben Warren said: “After opening five new venues in the past year, we feel Pinnacle Beer & Gin Hall is the tip of the iceberg for Concept Taverns. Combining all the best things we have learned in the city and surrounding areas, we feel our newest venue offers something special to Leeds with a truly unique hangout space for everyone to enjoy.
“Our handpicked selection of incredible beers, ales and gins from some of today’s most beloved providers has proven to be a winning formula across each of our bars, and the food, gaming and prime location of Pinnacle only adds to this. We look forward to welcoming our first guests just in time for summer.”
Concept Taverns was established in 2018 by brothers Matt and Ben Jones and its website shows it plans to open another new venue called The Riverside Fox, in Oldham Road, Ripponden, near Halifax.
