The phase ‘Best in Class’ is all too often banded around, but in the case of Albion and East, it’s very much deserved. The final interview was a little like listening to Michael Palin talking about travelling the World, you just wanted to hear more and more as the passion around the subject flowed.
Company ethos
The ethos of being the best they can be, flows from the founders, through to the KPs and part-time staff, with everyone keen to learn and share their enthusiasm for the business at whatever level.
Building on the point about detail, the business is hardwired to “sweat the small stuff”…to unpick every part of their training, offer and delivery striving for improvement.
Business in action
You’d could be fooled into thinking that having a gin distillery in each site would be enough to tick the innovation box, but not for the team at Albion and East, that’s just the start.
Perhaps the biggest compliment we can offer is that the entire judging panel as one said “we have to go to their sites” at the end of the judging process, an enthusiasm shared by the head judge, who had indeed seen the business in action during the thorough judging process.
