This nationwide competition is now open for nominations online, and will close on Thursday 3 March, when winners will be chosen.
The winners, together with their friends or family, will be treated to Sunday lunch at either the Bear of Burton, Christchurch, Dorset, or the Half Moon, Herne Hill, south London, with wine, beer and soft drinks included. This will be hosted by the chef Brian Turner CBE.
Heart of communities
Fuller’s marketing director Jane Jones said: “Our pubs are at the heart of their communities, and we want to celebrate some of the amazing work people have done during the most testing of times. Pride of Fuller’s is designed to honour those community heroes who really stand out and it only seems fitting to treat them and their families to a Sunday Lunch hosted by the icon that is Brian Turner.”
The awards are open to all, no matter how big or small the act of goodwill, according to Jones. She said this could be a friend, family member, colleague or someone who you’ve never met before but has made a difference. “We want to help you in saying ‘thank you’, she concluded.
