With entries flooding in, and demand growing, The Morning Advertiser, which organises the awards, has extended the deadline to allow a few more over the line before the judging gets under way for the next stages of the challenging competition.
The Publican Awards, which has been running for more than a quarter of a century now, celebrates the best pub companies across the trade, both large and small, and has become a by-word for excellence.
Ed Bedington, editor of the MA, said: “We appreciate an entry into the Publican Awards is no simple matter and it take time and effort, so we’re giving you a couple more weeks to finish off those entries and get them over the line.
“These awards are the ones to win for those in the trade and are a great way to benchmark yourselves against the competition, as well as give your business a good look over, and get an external audit from our expert judges.
“I look forward to getting down to the challenging job of judging those entries and wish all of you the best of luck for this year’s event.”
