Spanning a plethora of categories including Best for Food, Best for Families and Best for Dogs, pubs from across the nation were shortlisted.
Venues have been through a rigorous judging process including virtual and face-to-face visits before the winners were announced in a livestream ceremony.
Finalists hosted parties to celebrate being in the final, with customers and staff alike coming together in honour of the prestigious awards.
Category winners will go on to face a final judging stage – a panel interview with industry judges, which will result in the decision of which business will take the crown of Great British Pub of the Year 2021.
The Morning Advertiser, which organises the awards, editor Ed Bedington said: "These awards recognise excellence from across the sector, and given the bruising experience of the last 18 months or so, it’s been particularly pleasing to see how strong the sector remains.
“All of our finalists and winners have been doing amazing jobs in the toughest of circumstances and should rightly be proud of what they have created.
“The pub sector has demonstrated how important it is to society throughout the various lockdowns and the pubs that we celebrated tonight are leading the field when it comes to providing the best experiences in the trade.
“I’d like to pay tribute to all our finalists and winners - to achieve what you’ve achieved and to maintain those superb standards in the face of such a challenging time is incredible - you’ve done the industry proud.”
